Strategic Workforce Innovations is seeking an experienced HR professional who is interested in becoming a part of our talented team. Our consultants provide human resources consulting services throughout the Washington, DC metro area to a variety of commercial, government contracting, and non-profit clients. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients across all tactical, operational and strategic facets of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with organizational leadership to align human resources strategy with business objectives
• Serve as a trusted advisor, building deep relationships across all levels of the organizational from employees to leadership
• Design and implement HR programs, practices, processes and policies which are consistent with industry best practices and align with organizational goals
• Create and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
• Participate in the active execution of engagement, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, organization structure, and job roles
• Identify and analyze change impact, assess organizational readiness, and support a change management strategy that mitigates risk and maximizes employee engagement
• Create actionable deliverables that support communication and training efforts, managing resistance to change and help ensure user readiness
• Design and deliver learning solutions that supports organizational change; incorporating the use of learning methodologies and frameworks
• Concisely communicate ideas through PowerPoint and other documentation while adjusting style and level of details depending on audience
• Partner with business leaders, stakeholders, and project teams to meet business objectives and help ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner including articulation of complex issues, structuring clear and concise recommendations to a C-level audience
• Maintain subject matter expertise in all operational and tactical areas of HR including, but not limited to, employment law, FLSA classifications, leave management, HR technology, benefits management and compensation

Qualifications:
• A minimum of five years of relevant work experience related to change management, organizational development, or human resource consulting.; experience within a major consulting firm preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
• Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and leading practices with previous experience with large scale organizational change efforts and has leveraged PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and other Microsoft tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data, and structure information
• Strong understanding of adult learning and instructional design theories; previous experience in designing, delivering, evaluating and facilitating training
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, senior management, and staff working independently or as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability and a proven track record of success in delivering client services in a collaborative and fast-paced environment; travel may be up to 80-100% of the time
• The ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including C-Suite and VP levels, with confidence and poise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
